Exhibition Opportunities

ISAAC-2008 invites commercial and non-profit organizations to participate in this anniversary year exhibition showcasing the latest developments in assistive technologies for communication, literacy development materials for classrooms, and publications in the field of language development. The exhibition of diverse products, services and information contributing to AAC advancement will offer delegates opportunities to learn, discuss and evaluate new and existing resources.

The Exhibition will open immediately after the Conference Opening Ceremony. Exhibitors will be assured of high visibility and the opportunity for direct access to clinicians, researchers and families who actively work in, or have an interest in, the fields of augmentative and alternative communication. The exhibition space is on the same floor as the posters, the internet café and a special topics area designed to bring delegates into the exhibitors’ space (see diagram). In addition one of the session rooms and a break out room are adjacent to it. A further stimulus for high traffic is the location of coffee areas down one side of the exhibition space to attract delegates into the booth corridors between sessions. Exhibitors will have the opportunity to provide in depth demonstrations of individual products in a scheduled presentation during the main program.

In keeping with the theme of leadership and the 25th anniversary of ISAAC, exhibitors will also have a unique opportunity to display past products that contributed to the evolution of augmentative communication at a special commemorative booth.

Interested organizations or companies must commit early in order to reserve a preferred space. For further information, contact the Congress Secretariat.
